Life abroad

What changes in a different environment?

Project account · methods and observations from my study and research notes.

01 / The question

What changes in a different environment?

Living and working abroad meant entering two different professional environments: a plasma-processing plant in Montréal and a molecular-genetics laboratory in Concepción.

Montréal · 2024 → Concepción · 2025 → Different perspectives
Conceptual illustration of the approach

02 / The intuition

A mechanism worth testing.

Changing setting changes the questions worth asking. Industrial documentation and experimental interpretation both depend on understanding the people, language and context around the work.

03 / The work

Inside the method.

Explore each part of the approach.

01Montréal

The June–August 2024 Grifols internship involved engineering and maintenance during the launch of a plasma-processing plant.

02Concepción

The May–August 2025 LADE internship focused on CRISPR-Cas9 work in Xenopus tropicalis.

03Bring the experiences together

The two settings connect regulated industrial practice with experimental research and international collaboration.

04 / The observations

What emerged.

The profile provides the locations, dates and professional responsibilities. Personal photographs and the stories behind them remain to be selected.

This account is based on recorded project notes. Original reports, figures and datasets are not embedded here.

05 / The limits

Where the evidence stops.

This page records the experiences already documented. It does not substitute stock imagery for personal photographs or invent travel anecdotes.
